Frydenbø Car Center has received a modern and functional lighting installation tailored for vehicle sales, customer areas, and workshop operations. Our subsidiary Lyskomponenter in Norway has detailed and engineered this project in collaboration with OneCo, with Bico as the contractor, combining high lighting quality, energy-efficient solutions, and excellent working conditions throughout the entire building.

Welcoming entrance area with a modern expression
The entrance area is equipped with integrated LED strips recessed into the wooden structure, creating a clean and modern appearance. The lighting subtly highlights the entrance zone while providing a strong visual effect both during the day and in the evening.
The installation includes colored lighting using COB RGBW LED strips, allowing the light color to be adjusted to suit different expressions and needs. The solution provides flexibility in use and contributes to a more dynamic entrance area.
Lighting that highlights the vehicles
In the vehicle showroom, it has been important to create a bright and welcoming environment where the cars are presented in the best possible way. High color rendering and balanced lighting levels help emphasize details, materials, and paint finishes, while also making the premises feel open, modern, and easy to navigate for customers.
The solution has been developed to showcase the vehicles at their best while also ensuring flexibility in the layout and use of the showroom areas.
SLC Click – a natural fit for automotive environments
SLC Click is particularly well-suited for car dealerships and automotive facilities thanks to its clean linear design and flexible installation options. The continuous lines of light create a modern and professional atmosphere while complementing the smooth surfaces and contours of the vehicles on display.
The system provides uniform illumination with low glare, helping to highlight colours, materials, and details in the showroom environment. At the same time, the modular design makes SLC Click a practical solution for large open spaces where both aesthetics and functionality are important.
Click in the Office
In the offices, the SLC Click is used in white — a natural choice. It is integrated with a dimmer button and provides diffused, comfortable lighting.
Functional and efficient workshop lighting
In the workshop, the focus has been on functionality, precision, and optimal working conditions. The installation has been designed to meet the lighting requirements of Em 1000 lux on the floor, ensuring high visual comfort and ideal conditions for servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical work.
SLC Shift Surface Mounted
Our surface-mounted downlight has a colour switch for 3000K/4000K. Supplied with DALI driver and housing. Provides efficient and comfortable lighting.
SLC Fender
To properly inspect the paint finish on the vehicles, it is essential to have high-quality lighting from all angles. Here, we chose SLC Fender because of its excellent light distribution and high efficiency. The fixtures are mounted at different angles to ensure clear visibility across the entire vehicle.
Professional product display with integrated LED strips
Our long-term partner Bico has created this product display using LED strips from SLC. In a display like this, high colour rendering is essential, along with a slim profile and the right amount of light.
That is why the natural choice was SLC OneCut, with its slim 5 mm design and short cutting interval of every 8 mm. This makes it the perfect LED strip for a project like this.
