      SINTEF Energi

      For SINTEF Energi, Lyskomponenter Norway delivered RGBW LED strips for façade lighting in collaboration with the installer Caverion. The solution gives the building a modern and flexible appearance, allowing light and colors to be adapted to different applications and visual needs.

      The project was carried out with a strong focus on thorough planning, clear communication, and products tailored for both installation and long-term operation. The façade lighting highlights the building’s architecture and creates a cohesive visual expression, while also providing a high level of flexibility for future use.

      Colored light

      There was a clear requirement to use colored lighting that not only changes over time, but also varies along the lines of the façade itself. The solution was to use multiple LED strips, each individually controlled via DMX. This provides great flexibility in the lighting expression and enables dynamic effects along the façade, without the need for SPI-controlled LED strips.

      In total, 300 meters of LED strip have been installed across two floors, placing high demands on the products, control system, and execution to ensure an even and cohesive result.
